Experience History in VR
Travel into the past with the help of Virtual Reality.
We built a historically accurate version of a section of the Mariahilferstraße (street) in Vienna, Austria in the 19th century. Using historic images of the Mariahilferstraße 140 years ago, we were able to implement an accurate representation, of how the street looked in the past.
This project was developed for the 140th anniversary of the Gerngross shopping mall. The centerpiece of this environment is a spinning wheel in front of the old Gerngross shopping mall, which customers could spin while they were in VR. Each customer was allowed to spin the wheel a total of three times. When the needle landed on a jackpot, they won a prize in the form of a gift card, which they could redeem in one of the stores in the mall.

Features

Spinning the wheel, players have a chance to win real-life prizes like gift cards, which could be redeemed in local shops.
